My Favourite Thing About Brisbane Hens Parties

I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in hundreds of Brisbane hens parties over the years.

Sometimes I’ve been the life drawing model. Sometimes the topless waiter. Sometimes I’ve simply helped a maid of honour choose the perfect entertainer, activity or package for the bride.

What I genuinely love about Brisbane groups is how friendly they are.

Brisbane hens parties have a very different feel to many other events. The girls are usually bubbly, welcoming and genuinely excited to be there. Even when half the group has never met before, people make an effort to include everyone.

One of my favourite moments happens at almost every Brisbane hens party. At the start of the event you’ll often see small friendship groups sticking together. The work friends are over here. The cousins are over there. The school friends are sitting together. Everyone is still finding their feet.

Then the activity starts.

Maybe it’s a life drawing class. Maybe it’s a drag queen running games. Maybe it’s a topless waiter helping break the ice.

That’s probably my favourite part of the job.
